Description: |
Under limited supervision and on own initiative prepares reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and journal entries for the monthly and year-end close of the UWGH general ledger. Maintains the general ledger for the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC), prepares monthly journal entries for SECC, and prepares quarterly payments to participating SECC agencies. Maintains fixed asset/inventory records. Serves as custodian of the petty cash fund. Provides backup for Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Special projects as needed.

Skills: |
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited institution plus three consecutive years of accounting experience; or, an Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field plus four consecutive years of accounting experience; or, five years of financial/general accounting/public accounting experience.
